The Auth-Florence Company is the nation's preeminent manufacturer of superior quality mailboxes and accessories for centralized distribution and collection of mail and packages. Auth-Florence was founded in 1934 as the Florence Company. In 1991, the company acquired Auth Electric, adding chimes to its product offering.

For more than 68 years, the Florence line of postal specialties has maintained industry leadership by offering consistently superior product quality and rapid, reliable customer service. Auth-Florence provides technical support and customer service through both its centralized customer service operation and its network of manufacturer's representatives.

As a dynamic, growing company, Auth-Florence significantly expanded its product offering with the acquisition of the American Device Postal Specialties line in July 1998. A perfect complement to Auth-Florence postal specialties, American Device products have been known for their strength, security and long lasting durability since 1921. In 2000, Auth-Florence acquired Cutler Manufacturing Corporation -a venerable century old company that has manufactured postal products for the likes of the Empire State Building and John Hancock Building.

Today Auth-Florence has its headquarters and manufacturing operations in a new fully automated 200,000 square foot building located in Manhattan, Kansas. This facility combines ample room for future growth with state-of-the-art equipment to bring improved productivity and enhanced quality to every aspect of the company's fabrication, assembly, warehousing and shipping operations.

Auth-Florence is also the first and only company in our industry to be registered by UL to meet ISO 9001 standards -a sure sign of our commitment to security, craftsmanship and reliability.
